Mobile security is one of companies worry list and for a good reason. This because almost everyday workers access corporate data from their phone and there are times that there is sensitive information on the corporate data and if there is a breach data all the sensitive information could be leaked and its important to ensure cybersecurity Singapore would face cyber hacks.
Everyday there are new threats we face and there is amount of threat towards mobile device and here are the threats that we should take note of
Data leakage
Data leakage is a widespread issue in the world and also the most worried threats to enterprise security. It could be transferring company files onto a public cloud storage service, pasting confidential info in the wrong place, or sent to the wrong recipient.
It’s a matter of the user inadvertently making ill-advised decisions about which app are able to see and transfer their information.
Wi-Fi interference
A mobile device is only as secure than a network through which it transmits data. There are a number of public Wi-Fi networks which means our info often isn’t as secure.
We would connect to Wi-Fi almost three times as much as we use cellular data and normally, we use unsecured Wi-Fi networks and maybe devices have encountered a man in the middle attack which means someone is maliciously intercepts communication between both parties.
Out of date devices
Our mobile devices are always facing new risks to enterprise security in the traditional work devices and they don’t have a guarantee on software updates. This is true particularly on the android interface which a majority manufactures are ineffective keeping their products up to date and this face of a threat to being hack as the security patches are not updated, the security problems aren’t fixed.
